The Blackhawk XPOL panel antenna is the most popular antenna for solving slow 4G mobile broadband connections. The design uses dual-polarised 2x2 MIMO antenna technology to provide high speed internet connectivity even in weak signal areas.
This antenna covers all major 3G and 4G frequency bands from 700 to 2700 MHz.
Solving a poor 4G connection is very simple. The antenna is mounted as high as possible, such as on a roof, to provide the best opportunity to detect weak signals. Two feeder cables are then used to connect a 4G modem that supports an external antenna.
Having a wide beam (65°) the antenna isn't very sensitive to direction. The antenna can be slowly rotated until the modem shows a signal improvement.
Recommended Use
This antenna has been designed with a moderate-high 9 dBi gain to ensure maximum performance in areas where signal is interrupted by nearby buildings and trees, or in areas normally too far from a cell tower for a reliable connection.
While this is still a great antenna it isn't compatible with the latest 5G technologies. For ultra-high speed connectivity an Active Antenna may be required.

Like all high gain antenna it is important to disconnect this antenna during handling and installation. This product may generate EME that exceeds ARPANSA safety limits within 100 mm of the antenna mainlobe.
