The VBH-7038-3 antenna is an economic, high performance bulkhead mount wideband 3G, 4G, and 5G antenna for external use on a range of IoT devices including electronic advertising, vending machines, and metering applications.

The antenna exhibits very consistent omnidirectional patterns across the full 700 to 3800 MHz bandwidth, with high radiation efficiency and consistent 2 to 3 dBi gain. VBH-7038-3 has undergone extensive laboratory analysis, with an engineering test report available on request.

The antenna is mounted through metal and plastic structures with its integrated N Female bulkhead which is locked from the inside of the structure by a nut. A rubber gasket at its base provide a watertight IP67 seal to the mounting structure.

Recommended Use

Manufactured from high impact PC & ABS, this antenna is highly durable, and resistant to vandalism.

Many stud mounted microstrip antenna designs have highly variable performance, demonstrating azimuthal instability and poor radiation efficiency. VBH-7038-3 provides exceptional stability across all 3G, 4G, and 5G FR1 bands from 700 through to 3800 MHz.

3D Patterns

3D radiation patterns provide an intuitive view of how an antenna radiates in three dimensions. Unlike simulations, they are developed by taking 1656 measurements across three axes inside a certified laboratory faciity.
