Cambium's 900 MHz PMP 450i unit provides incredible long range wireless connectivity in non-line-of-sight (nLOS) environments.
With a peak modulation scheme of 256QAM, even within tight operating conditions of the Australian 900 MHz band the PMP 450i can provide up to 75 Mbps L1 throughput.
PMP 450i 900 MHz is one of the few industrial grade solutions capable of providing high speed connectivity variable terrain environments. With dynamic modulation & coding the units self adjust to maintain a high quality connection during deep fade events, or when mounted on mobile plant.
Despite a 1 W EIRP restriction, this multipoint access point can provide simultaneous connectivity to multiple subscriber modules over a several kilometre range.
Outside Australian restrictions, the unit can provide up to 150 Mbps capacity using a 20 MHz channel, up to 238 subscribers, and claims a maximum operating range of 190 kilometres.
PMP 450i 900 MHz is an excellent candidate for open cut mining operations where the constant shift in material / overburden creates a highly dynamic environment which ordinary 2.4 or 5 GHz point to point networks cannot handle.
This unit is a connectorised Access Point. R-Spectrum use the connectorised variant to match antenna types to the specific operating environment. Our team build fully customised 900 MHz solutions for both within the strict Australian regulatory conditions, and ultra high performance networks throughout the wider Pacific region.
