The 25 to 28 GHz band is globally harmonised through the International Telecommunication Union's Recommendation ITU-R F.748 for microwave technology.

ITU-R F.748 defines radio-frequency arrangements for systems of the fixed service operating in the 25, 26 and 28 GHz bands. Each country develops its own specific operating conditions based on the global ITU-R recommendation, covering information such as antenna sizing, minimum distance requirements, and geographic coordination.
