6 GHz

About the 6 GHz Band

The 6 GHz band is globally harmonised through the International Telecommunication Union's Recommendation ITU-R F.383 for microwave technology.

ITU-R F.383 defines radio-frequency channel arrangements for high-capacity fixed wireless systems operating in the lower 6 GHz (5925 to 6425 MHz) band. Each country develops its own specific operating conditions based on the global ITU-R recommendation, covering information such as antenna sizing, minimum distance requirements, and geographic coordination.
