The GC48T roof mast is a heavy duty mounting platform for a range of large antennas, microwave dishes, and mmWave systems onto tiled roofs.
The GC48 series' collared design incorporates two sliding collars allowing stay bars to be attached to the centre mast, locked into place with large M12 bolts. Designed for operation in even the most extreme environments, this mast has three large footplates designed to secure in place using 6 to 12 roof screws. The footplate has a hinged design allowing pitch compensation for standard corrugated iron and tin roofs.
GC48T is a subseries of the traditional GC48 mast, which employs the use of three adjustable threaded bar mounts that fix to the underlying roof structure, such as attaching to rafters or purlins. Installation is a matter of marking out your distances, positioning the plates, and drilling three holes in the tiles to feed the threaded bar through. An M10 bolt runs through a stirrup to hold the central 48 mm diameter pole in place while still pivoting, allowing roof pitch compensation.
This roof mast ships from our partner in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. For sizes above 2.0 metres please contact us to arrange a freight estimate.
Recommended Use
GC48T is designed for critical systems. This is a large, solid roof mount that can support very large loads.
This mast is used for almost all our microwave and mmWave systems where near-zero deflection is required.
