The Cel-Fi PRO is an indoor mobile booster designed to quickly improve mobile phone and data coverage. This model has been designed to improve Telstra 3G and 4G services in a matter of minutes.

Setting up the booster to improve indoor mobile coverage is simple. Cel-Fi PRO consists of two units that work together

  • Network Unit (NU): positioned where signal is stronger, such as in a window, or connected to an external antenna
  • Coverage Unit (CU): positioned in the middle of the area requiring coverage enhancement

The Cel-Fi PRO works by decoding the network's control messaging and amplifying signal detected by the Network Unit or roof mounted antenna. This cleaner signal is then rebroadcast at full strength by the Coverage Unit. With a good input signal the unit is capable of providing good mobile coverage in a radius of 20 to 30 metres.

The Telstra Cel-Fi PRO can be set to operate on one frequency band at a time. With Telstra shutting down its 3G network the unit should be set to operate on the 700 MHz 4G network which provides both voice and high speed internet services.

Recommended Use

Cel-Fi PRO can be self-installed a stand-alone kit, or connected to a roof mounted high gain antenna for locations with very weak service.
