2.4 mm (Q) Female to SMA Male adapters are an IEEE 287 General Precision compliant means of mating the two differing series of RF interface.
The adapter is mode free with very low VSWR and IL characteristics up to 27 GHz. Insertion Loss follows 0.05*Sqt(f_GHz).
This laboratory grade adapter is manufactured from stainless steel with a passivate finish and uses a PTFE and PEI dielectric.
