4.3-10 RF connectors are designed to meet the extreme demands of 4G and 5G antenna equipment, supporting SINR sensitive applications, very high order modulation schemes, wide aggregated bandwidths, and extended operating bands up to 6 GHz.

This captivated-style 4.3-10 Male connector terminates L-240 series coaxial cables, such as LMR-240. The connector is weatherproof when mated with an IP65 female connector.

Recommended Use

4.3-10 connectors are used in conjunction with LMR-240 cables in order to connect cellular 4G modems to modern 4G / 5G external antennas. A range of telemetry antennas use 4.3-10 connectors due to their rugged durability and ingress protection rating.

The connector's inner conductor mates with the coaxial using a captivated contact - no soldering / hot-works required. A standard 0.255" hex tool is used to crimp the outer conductor to the L-240 cable using the supplied crimp ferrule.

Cable Suitability

L-240, sometimes referred to as LMR-240, is a low loss coaxial cable with a medium sized 6.10 mm outer diameter. This series is without a doubt the most popular choice of RF cable, due to its efficient compromise between performance and cost. 

L-240 cable provides the flexibility and easy installation of a smaller diameter cable, with the low attenuation and shielding advantages of a larger cable. Unlike larger cables, L-240 can pass 5G and mmWave frequencies up to 31 GHz.

Pound-for-pound L-240 has the lowest loss of any Flexible cable with performance comparable to Semi-Rigid hard-line cables.
