Description
RP-SMA connectors are designed to interface with reverse-polarised wireless transmitters such as WiFi access points. The RP-SMA Male connector has the conventional male hex nut, but using a female receptacle as the inner contact.
This Straight-bodied RP-SMA Male connector is designed for an ordinary crimp and solder attachment to LMR-240 and equivalent series braided coaxial cables.
Installation is very simple. After preparing the cable, the pin is soldered onto the centre conductor and outer body pushed over the top until the pin sits flush. A standard 6.48 mm (.255") hex die is used to crimp the ferrule.
This RP-SMA Male coaxial connector has been designed to support an extended frequency range up to 6 GHz, ensuring compatibility with Sub-6 GHz wireless and 802.11ac/ax WiFi.
