French Southern Territories

Telecommunications in French Southern Territories

The French Southern and Antarctic Lands (Terres australes et antarctiques françaises) is an overseas territory of France. It consists of Kerguelen Islands (Archipel des Kerguelen); St. Paul and Amsterdam islands (Îles Saint Paul et Amsterdam); Crozet Islands (Îles Crozet); Adélie Land (Terre Adélie), the French claim on the continent of Antarctica; and the Scattered Islands (Îles Éparses), a dispersed group of islands around the coast of Madagascar.

As the Islands are primarily used for scientific research and lacking permanent population there are no networks in operation.
