Armenia Telephone Company CJSC (ArmenTel), trading as Beeline, is the largest telecommunication company in Armenia. The company began as a state-owned entity in 1995 but later purchased by Russian-owned VimpelCom Group of Companies.
VimpelCom (rebranded as VEON in 2017) is one of the world's largest integrated telecommunications services operator headquartered in Amsterdam and operating in 13 countries across the globe. The VEON Group provides a wide range of wireless and fixed communication technologies-based voice and data transmission and broadband Internet services to more than 200 million subscribers across Russia, Italy, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Algeria, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Beeline Armenia 3G
The company provides GSM coverage on 900 and 1800 MHz bands, and 3G over B1 (2100 MHz) since September 2008.

Beeline Armenia 4G
In July 2016 the company begun rolling out 4G LTE services on the B31 (450 MHz) band, refarming its existing 450 MHz WLL spectrum licences. B31 (450 MHz) is a popular choice for VEON due to the sparsely populated environment and challenging terrain the company frequently operates in. Beeline began rolling out a more conventional B3 (1800 MHz) LTE service in September 2016, using a 10 MHz channel to provide up to 75 Mbps DL. NB: The company claims 100 Mbps in rural areas which suggests either a 15 MHz B3 channel, or CA_3A-31A is employed, unfortunately this cannot be confirmed.
