The Hardware and Infrastructure section contains information on physical structures, bracketry, integrated platforms, and installation components. These types of products are notoriously difficult to categorise - everyone has their own opinion about where the line is drawn between a mast, a pole, and a tower, or what the difference is between a mount and a bracket. The terminology we have used attempts to resolve this by abstracting away terms like towers and masts, instead classing them all as "Physical Structures". Bracketry is anything that attaches to a Physical Structure. Installation Components are ancillaries and consumable components, such as wall plates, conduits, and cable ties.

One term that requires explanation is Integrated Platforms. This is a broad term used to refer to complex hardware platforms that may have additional subsystems attached, such as a power system or a communications system.
