About the Andorra Telecom Network

Created in 1975, the Andorra Telecom is the public (state owned) operator that manages and operates exclusively in Andorra, telecommunications services usually fixed telephony, mobile telephony, transmission data, Internet and other services.

Andorra Telecom is also responsible for managing the technical infrastructures and national broadcasting networks and digital terrestrial television (DTT). Andorra Telecom is governed and administered by a Board of Directors with full responsibility to the Government of Andorra, management, direction and representation of the service, and the management, administration and disposal of its assets and resources.

Andorra 3G

Andorra Telecom launched a B1 (2100 MHz) 3G service in December 2007 which it upgraded to support HSPA+ in February 2014.

Andorra 5G

In September 2019 Andorra Telecom announced that it would begin implementation of a 1 Gb/s 5G network, with an initial pilot trial in the urban area of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany to take place in Summer.
