About the Claro Network
AMX Argentina, S.A., a mobile network operator, provides wireless telecommunication services through its Claro brand (previously known as CTI Móvil). It offers wireless, fixed- line voice, broadband, and Pay TV services and products. AMX Argentina, S.A. was formerly known as CTI Compañía de Teléfonos del Interior, S.A. The company was founded in 1994 and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. AMX Argentina, S.A. operates as a subsidiary of America Movil S.A.B. de C.V.

Claro 3G
Claro launched its 3G UMTS service over B2 (1900 MHz) and B5 (850 MHz) in November 2007 and in 2011 begun advertising a HSPA+ upgrade as a "4G" service.

Claro 4G
The company has since launched 4G LTE services in June 2015 on B4 (1700 MHz) . The network was upgraded to LTE-Advanced adding the B7 (2600 MHz) and B28 (700 MHz) bands following a 2018 auction.
Refarming of its 3G band has seen the addition of limited B2 (1900 MHz) carrier deployment.
